The personal service is amazing here! We bought a range from Hutch's a couple of years ago and loved it but then about 1 1/2 years later we started having serious problems with the oven that concerned us with the safety of even using the oven. We called Whirlpool but they wouldn't help us because it was out of warranty. We went back to Hutch's and explained the situation to them and they helped us work with Whirlpool so that Whirlpool ended up replacing the defective oven unit free of charge.
I can not put into words how blown away I am by the service we received from the owner and staff. Our clothes washer broke 1 week before moving out of our home. We desperately needed another washer so we stopped in at Hutch's 20 min before closing. We quickly picked out a washer, paid for It, and went on our way. While driving home I decided to do a little homework on the washer. I found out that Lowes was advertising the same washer for $200 less. I immediately called Hutch's (after hours) and was able to speak with the owner. He told me the Lowes price must be a mistake because it was below cost. But he would price match it anyway. The next day our washer was delivered and installed. We went back to Hutch's to get our refund on the price match. The owner told us the Lowes price was indeed a mistake and proved it to me but said he would still match the price and refund the $200. I didn't feel right about that knowing it was under cost. We ended up working out a deal on which we got a smaller refund AND a beautiful piece of decor for free. The owner was so nice that we ended up buying a dining table for our new home too. Absolutely incredible, and HONEST, service. I've never been so impressed with customer service as I was at Hutch's. We will definitely be buying our future furnishings from them!
Purchased a fridge, paid extra for a warranty. It has never worked properly. The ice machine doesn't work, nor does the filtered water (2 things we would like to use every day!). They have come out to supposedly fix it a few times, but have left us with the same problem, over and over. I guess they are tired of coming to fix it and now are very rude. We are left with a lemon of a fridge even after paying for a warranty. I just don't get it. Very frustrating.
Hutch's Home Furnishings has the best staff ever. They are so knowledgeable about everything from appliances to furniture and mattresses. Their service tech is so kind and helpful and knows what he is doing whenever he comes out for service. It doesn't surprise me that they have been awarded best place to buy furniture, mattresses, appliances, best service and best customer service for eight years in a row; they really deserve it! I love Hutch's and will definitely go back and buy more things from them.
Very friendly staff. They treated me like their most valuable customer. I plan to come back and purchase more furniture here.
Update: The owner sent out a different company to trouble shoot and fixed the ice/water issue. We did appreciate the effort he made to make things right after months of a non-working fridge. Update from 1 to 4 stars.
To repair our range Hutch's sent out their technician, Travis, who was also amazing! He came out within a few days and quickly figured out what the problem was and then returned a week and a half later with the part and installed it. But before he left he also took off my oven door, took it apart, and cleaned the glass inside because I had mentioned that I couldn't figure out how to clean something that had dripped on the inside glass. I know he had lots of other service calls ahead so that was really sweet of him to do that...with a smile! No, I'm not his mom and I very seldom do reviews. I'm just glad to know there's still places like Hutch's and people like Travis!
