1. Build a dinosaur with Velcro parts. The parts don't hold because the Velcro is old.

3. Water and Sand station. This one is the best, but every waterproof jacket and apron is broken. The Velcro doesn't work on the jackets and the aprons are missing strings. They've been broken pretty much the entire 7 months we've had a membership and most are soaking wet.

My son loves dinosaurs, but if we didn't have the membership, we would only go to the dinosaur museum in Salt Lake. This one definitely needs a lot of work to not only make the boring stations work/have supplies, but it also makes the dinosaurs pretty inaccessible to small children. Not engaging at all.

The employees were so friendly and patient with our several questions at the front desk.

We had a great time!! We had ages 67, 59, 32, 3 and 1 and everyone loved it.

Came here as a spur of the moment thought. We'd seen the displays a few weeks ago, when we saw a movie at the Mammoth Screen from the Megaplex Movie Theater next store.

We love coming to the museum! Our toddler really loved it for the first time today. Please get more sand for the erosion table! All 7 of our kids love it but there really isn't enough sand to go around (especially when older kids tend to hog it).

The fossils and displays were set up amazingly. My daughter was thoroughly entertained, which is saying quite a bit, as she has such a short attention span. I would have liked to spend more time reading about each of the artifacts, but I guess in August I will take more time.

Easily seen from the freeway, but can be a little complicated to get to without the insight of a local or Google Maps.

I really like this museum and the fun exhibits they have. I really like that throughout the museum they have small activities to keep the kids engaged. My daughter loves the middle with the large water/sand table as well as the end with digging for dinosaur bones! All in all an afternoon well spent whenever we go!

2. Build a dinosaur on a magnetic board. The magnetic pieces are missing, so they don't stick and fall off on tiny children. Last time I watched as two kids walked away crying after dropping pieces on themselves bc they wouldn't stick.

POINTERS/PERKS - 5

I love most of the events at Thanksgiving Point, but this museum is terrible. The interactive stations all need work.

I honestly did not care for the price, and in fact I think this was the only negative part of our visit. Each adult is $15 and per child is $8. So with tax in the end we paid $42 for three. They have all kinds of "special" prices for this and that, season passes and whatnot, all way overpriced. I was told Tuesdays in August it is only $2 per person. We'll come back then.

4. The sand pit, good luck finding a brush or utensil and a place to sit if you're a parent. It's a strange bottleneck of an area too.

Come in August on a Tuesday when it is $2 per person, unless you want to make some financial sacrifices. They have several interactive activities for children, which is great!
